Here in Australia, we call it mince meat. But it just means the same as ground beef.
They sell it in grades of leanness. They think less animal fat is actaully healthier.
The opposite is true.
The lowest grade contains all the fat and sinew. The grist from the bones and the bone joints. The muscle tendons and ligaments.
This is where you get most of your minerals. If you can't get access to bone broth for example, low grade mince meat is a great alternative too.
