Even though I am very good at reading labels and know what goes into my body, I sometimes get more trans fats in my system than I should. But my diet is also quite rich in fiber. I start my day off with a large bowl of bran flakes and eat that every single day. I also eat a lot of high fiber broccoli.
I like to think that with all the fiber I ingest, that should counteract any trans fats buildup. I hope and trust that I am correct on this.

Seed oils are the big killer.
Most processed food these days contains seed oils in their ingredients because they're cheap.
Having said that, broccoli unclogs arteries and is know to slow down the aging process.
I halts muscle atrophy.

Having said that, broccoli unclogs arteries and is know to slow down the aging process. That's good to read about broccoli, but what do you think about bran flakes? Doctors out here seem to want to encourage people to eat them, any thoughts?

Doctors out here seem to want to encourage people to eat them, any thoughts? Bran flakes I don't know. For any grains I just eat sour dough bread because it's fermented. I used to eat rolled oats for breakfast but now I just make a 6 raw egg protein shake.

A very respected cardiologist out here once told me that a person should never consume more than 3 eggs per week, due to the very high cholesterol content in each egg.

Those claims were based on fraudulent studies. Many doctors out there still think it's true. Vince Gironda knew it was not true. He would eat 36 eggs a day. Eggs are a superfood.
